Where the name comes from
“That is why I was given the name ‘50 million ablaze’ to the vision of our God. 50 million inhabitants of these Pacific islands [on fire] for God, spiritually speaking that is.”

The Vision
What was seen on the prayer walks in Bataan and Zambales, in the writer’s own words.

Taking the Vision to the People
Street by street, island by island: how the message goes out.

About the Ministry
Who is behind it and what it is for.
The vision in brief
On prayer walks through the streets of Bataan and Zambales, missionary Deon A. Rodden saw all the inhabited islands of the Philippines at once, and fifty million Filipinos—truck drivers, jeepney drivers, market workers, fishermen—stopping what they were doing to lift their hands and worship God.
That picture gave this ministry its name. 50 Million Ablaze is the hope of a whole nation, on fire for God.
How the vision becomes real
- Preach. Open-air crusades and street preaching from a loudspeaker truck, taking the Gospel to where people already are.
- Heal and serve. A medical and dental clinic and housing for people who would otherwise be forgotten.
- Teach. A Christian high school to raise up the next generation of leaders.
- Gather and send. A sanctuary to worship, pray, train and send out Christian workers.
